A Provider Who Sees the Whole Person
Mental health symptoms rarely exist in isolation. Stress, medical history, sleep, trauma, family dynamics, substance use, medications, and life transitions can all shape how someone feels and functions.
Latesia’s approach begins with listening carefully, understanding your full history, and working with you to create a treatment plan that is realistic, respectful, and clinically informed.
Her goal is not only to reduce symptoms, but to help patients feel more informed, supported, and empowered throughout their care.
Clinical Background
Latesia began her healthcare career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and continued advancing through registered nursing and graduate-level psychiatric training. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at St. Thomas University.
Her clinical experience includes ICU, CCU, and trauma unit nursing, giving her a strong foundation in complex medical care. This background is especially valuable when working with patients who have both psychiatric symptoms and medical concerns.
